Walnut Cheese Pizza

Ingredients

Servings 6 servings
  • grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • pizza dough - 0.5 kg
  • salt
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • 1 st. l. flour and corn grits for sprinkling
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • handful of shelled pine nuts
  • 100 g each of parmesan, blue cheese, mozzarella or suluguni, provolone or Poshekhonsky cheese
  • 2 bunches of basil and cilantro

Cooking

Step 1

An hour before serving pizza on the table, turn on the oven to maximum (250ºС). Grind greens with garlic and zest in a blender until puree, gradually pouring in olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet greased with oil and sprinkled with corn grits. Spread the dough with green paste, leaving a 1 cm wide strip around the edges.

Step 3

Grate the parmesan and provolone on a fine grater, cut the mozzarella into small cubes, crumble the blue cheese with a fork, mix everything. Cover the pizza dough with an even layer of cheese mixture, sprinkle walnuts and pine nuts on top. Place in the middle of the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
