Spicy tomato soup with cinnamon
Ingredients
- 2 small onions
- 1 can of canned tomatoes (680 g)
- 3 art. l. tomato paste
- 1 st. vegetable broth
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- half a lime
- ½ tsp red hot pepper
- 1 h. l. peppers
- olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
Cooking
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and fry in olive oil until tender. Peel the skin off the tomatoes and mash them with a fork. Add to the onion along with the juice from the jar.
Step 2
Add all the other ingredients (pre-squeeze the juice from half a lime), mix, bring to a boil and let cook for another 10-15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks, lime and garlic.
