Shrimps fried with garlic
Shrimps fried with garlic are cooked in different parts of the world, bringing certain features of the local cuisine to the dish. In Sicily, for example, at the final stage, a little grappa (grape vodka) is poured into the pan and then set on fire. The Spaniards simply add sherry at the end of frying shrimp and evaporate it. Thais put a lot of hot spices, so garlic breaks through them with difficulty. Our recipe is very harmonious, "calm", which is likely to please most of our readers. The taste of shrimp is exquisitely tinted with garlic, which is slightly softened by delicate notes of butter.
Ingredients
Servings 4-6 servings- garlic - 4-6 cloves
- cherry tomatoes - 150 g
- canned pitted olives - 150 g
- olive oil - 4 tbsp. l.
- large shrimp - 32 pcs. (16–20 pieces per 1 kg)
- butter - 20 g

Cooking
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients for the dish. Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Wash cherry tomatoes and pat dry. Cut into halves. Olives can be cut into rings or, like tomatoes, cut into halves.
Step 2
Place a large skillet over high heat. Pour in the olive oil and heat well. Add the shrimp to the skillet and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3
Add minced garlic to the pan with the shrimp. Cook, stirring, until the garlic is golden (this may take about two minutes). Make sure it doesn't burn!
Step 4
Place the chopped cherry tomatoes along with the olives in the shrimp and garlic pan. Add butter. Stir and fry everything together for two minutes.
Step 5
Salt and pepper the fried shrimp with garlic to taste. Stir and remove from heat. Divide immediately into serving bowls and serve. You can sprinkle with chopped herbs.
