Sandwich with egg and cheese
I offer a variant of a delicious sandwich for breakfast with an egg inside. Cheese, herbs and runny egg yolk with crispy toast... mmm... what could be better?!
Ingredients
Servings 1- white toast bread - 2 slices
- curd cheese with herbs - 1 tbsp. l.
- processed cheese (in slices) - 1 pc.
- Romaine salad - 1 leaf
- chicken egg - 1 pc.
- salt - 1 pinch
- zatar seasoning - 1 tbsp. l.
Cooking
Step 1
Prepare all necessary products. Cut out the center of one slice of bread.
Step 2
Put a slice of bread in a pan and very carefully pour an egg into the middle, lightly salt and fry on both sides for literally 1-2 minutes.
Step 3
Lightly brown a whole slice of bread in a toaster or skillet. Spread a thin layer of curd cheese with greens, put pieces of Romaine lettuce and a slice of melted cheese on top. Gently place the egg slice on top.
Step 4
Sprinkle the sandwich over the zatar and serve immediately for breakfast with a cup of tea or coffee.
