Puff with cottage cheese and aromatic herbs

Ingredients

  • 500 g ready-made puff pastry
  • salt
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • 2 sprigs of thyme, rosemary and basil
  • 1 pinch grated lemon zest
  • olive oil - 20 ml
  • sugar - 0.5 tsp.
  • cottage cheese - 350 g

Cooking

Step 1

Wash greens, dry and finely chop. Mix with cottage cheese, salt, pepper, sugar and lemon zest. Knead the dough, roll it into a thin layer 0.5 cm thick and cut into 4 equal strips. Spread on each equal part of the curd mixture and roll into a tube shape. Lubricate the surface with a beaten egg and for 20 minutes. bake in the oven at 200°C on a baking sheet greased with oil. Serve hot.
