Pitted cherry jam

Ingredients

  • 2.3 kg of cherries
  • 2.6 kg of sugar
  • 1 glass of water

Cooking

Step 1

Remove pits from cherries.

Step 2

Make a thick syrup from 6 cups of sugar and water. Add cherries and remaining sugar and bring to a boil. Boil 15 min.

Step 3

Pour into sterilized jars and roll up. Wrap up for 24 hours.
