Panic Tikka Cheese Tofu Baked with Bell Peppers

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • 500g tofu (preferably pressed)
  • 120 g tomatoes
  • 160 g sweet pepper
  • 10 g minced garlic
  • 10 g grated fresh ginger
  • 6 g turmeric
  • 5 g ground chili pepper
  • 50 g vegetable oil
  • 15 g mustard oil
  • red onion for serving

Cooking

Step 1

Cut the tofu into large cubes or sticks. Cut the tomatoes into slices, pepper into squares. Mix with remaining ingredients, let steep for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2

Fry cheese and vegetables in vegetable oil in a pan or bake in the oven until golden brown. Arrange on a plate, alternating cheese and vegetables. Serve sprinkled with thinly sliced red onion.
