Morse of cherries and raspberries

Morse from cherries and raspberries is a real storehouse of vitamins, plus a bright taste and color. Be sure to prepare this fruit drink in season. Usually these berries are at the same time at the peak of the season at the end of July. Especially tasty fruit drink is obtained from wild raspberries collected in the forest. But wild raspberries usually ripen later - and it is likely that then frozen cherries will have to be used for fruit drink.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups cherries
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 liter bottled water
  • 1 star anise

Cooking

Step 1

Remove pits from cherries. Put the raspberries and cherries in a bowl, sprinkle the berries with sugar, cover and leave for 6-8 hours.

Step 2

Remove the zest from the lemon, chop. Squeeze the juice from the lemon itself. Put the berries in a sieve lined with gauze, set over a bowl. Push, squeeze the juice.

Step 3

Put the pomace from the berries in a saucepan, fill with bottled water, add the lemon zest and star anise, bring to a boil over low heat. Then remove from heat, insist under the lid for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Strain and cool the decoction. Mix with berry juice and lemon juice. Serve well chilled.
