Mom's bagels with marmalade
Favorite bagels come from childhood: my mother used to cook them for me, and now I cook them for my children. Only 4 ingredients. The dough itself is without sugar, and the filling is homemade marmalade.
Ingredients
Servings 48 bagels- butter - 200 g (room temperature)
- sour cream - 200 g (for a "lighter" dough, you can use thick homemade yogurt)
- flour - 450-500 g
- marmalade (I have quince) - about 150 g
Cooking
Step 1
Mix butter with sour cream, gradually add flour, knead soft elastic dough. Leave for 30 minutes to "rest".
Step 2
Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll each one into a circle with a diameter of 26-28 cm. Divide the circle with a knife into 4 parts, then into 8, and into 16.
Step 3
Marmalade cut into sticks. Spread the marmalade sticks on the wide edge of the triangle and roll up the bagels. Children can be involved in this process. They love wrapping bagels.
Step 4
Put the bagels on a baking sheet and bake at 180 ° C for min. 15-20 until golden.
