Hot sandwich with chicken, cheese and tomatoes
Ingredients
Servings 2- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 2 large slices cheddar or emmental cheese
- 4 large slices of dark rustic bread
- 1 large tomato
- 2 leaves of Romano lettuce
- sweet mustard
- butter
- salt
Cooking
Step 1
Salt the chicken breast and fry in butter over medium heat, 5 minutes each. from each side. Wrap in foil and chill. Cut into thin slices. Brush the slices of bread with butter on one side. Cut the tomato into thin circles, salt a little.
Step 2
Put half of the chicken on two slices of bread, grease with mustard. Then cheese, then tomatoes, lettuce, and the rest of the chicken. Cover with remaining bread, press down.
Step 3
Brush the outside of the bread with oil and toast the sandwiches in a sandwich maker or in a weighted pan, 2 to 3 minutes. Cut the sandwiches in half crosswise before serving.
