Homemade lemonade with citric acid
Making homemade lemonade with citric acid is not easy, but very simple, but in this way you will give your loved ones not only the desired coolness on a hot summer day, but also give them the most pleasant taste experience. The thing is that we added not only fresh citruses to the drink, but also fragrant mint, and this, you know, immediately takes it to a very high level. By the way, if you want, use also lemon balm, tarragon or green basil: you will get even more interesting flavors. Although the classic version of homemade lemonade with citric acid is good on its own and is usually liked by everyone without exception!
Ingredients
Servings 6- sugar - 400 g
- citric acid - 2 tsp.
- drinking water - 250 ml
- lemons - 4 pcs.
- mint - 50-70 years
- carbonated mineral water - 2 l
Cooking
Step 1
Prepare your homemade lemonade ingredients. First you need to boil the syrup. To do this, pour sugar into the pan and add citric acid. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Boil 7-10 minutes.
Step 2
Wash lemons and mint for lemonade, dry well. Cut three fruits into not very thick circles and carefully mash with a pusher along with mint in a large bowl.
Step 3
Carefully pour the previously prepared hot syrup into the bowl of lemons and mint. Cover the container with clean gauze. Let cool completely at room temperature.
Step 4
Cut the remaining lemon into circles or slices. Divide into serving glasses. Strain the cooled lemonade through cheesecloth, folded four times, into a clean jug.
Step 5
Pour cold sparkling mineral water into a pitcher and stir. Pour into glasses with fresh lemon slices. Serve your homemade lemonade immediately.
