Easy Apricot Pie
This simple apricot pie is so easy to make you'll want to bake it right away. Why not, if, moreover, it can be done fairly quickly?! The main thing is to find really tasty apricots, moreover, ripe, but not very soft (these will “blur”, and the look of the dish will be completely different). And everything else is really a matter of technique: whipped, mixed, chopped, added, put in the oven. By the way, you can easily complement a simple apricot pie with cherries or blackcurrants: it will turn out very beautiful and unusually tasty!
Ingredients
Servings 10-12- butter - 240 g
- apricots - 500 g
- sugar - 300 g
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- flour - 400 g
- salt - on the tip of a knife
- baking powder - 2 tsp
Cooking
Step 1
Prepare the dough for a simple apricot pie. Cut the butter into small cubes and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Step 2
Wash the apricots and dry well with paper towels. Cut each fruit in half and remove the seeds. Leave the apricot halves until use.
Step 3
For the pie dough, beat the soft butter with a mixer with sugar until a mass of a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Then add eggs one at a time. Beat thoroughly after each.
Step 4
Sift flour with salt and baking powder through a fine sieve. Add the resulting mixture to the egg-butter mass and mix quickly. The dough for a simple apricot pie is ready.
Step 5
Line a 26 cm diameter mold with baking paper or grease with any fat. Pour the batter into the bowl and spread evenly with your hands. Arrange the apricots and press lightly. Heat the oven to 180°C. Bake a simple apricot pie for about 30 minutes. Before serving, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
