Cake "Red Velvet"
I love pampering my family with delicious treats. In our family, this cake has a special place, it does not stay on the table for a long time, everything is eaten clean.
Ingredients
Servings 10- flour - 340 g
- cocoa - 1 tbsp. l.
- salt - 5 g
- sugar - 300 g
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- vegetable oil - 300 g
- kefir - 300 g
- gel dye or dry red color (by eye)
- curd cheese - 300 g (for cream)
- butter - 150 g (for cream)
- granulated sugar - incomplete glass (for cream)
Cooking
Step 1
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, cocoa, sugar, soda, baking powder, salt. Mix very well so that all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 2
Add eggs and vegetable oil, again mix everything well.
Step 3
In kefir, stir the dye to a bright red color.
Step 4
Add kefir to the bowl and again mix everything thoroughly. We leave the dough for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Form or ring, I use a ring, flour, and pour half the dough. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check if the toothpick comes out dry, then the cake is ready. And we do the same with the second part of the test.
Step 6
We wrap the finished cakes with cling film and put them in the refrigerator for a day. This is necessary so that the moisture inside the cakes is evenly distributed, and then they will be moist and soaked.
Step 7
For cream, beat butter for 8 minutes with sugar.
Step 8
Add cream cheese and beat until fluffy and smooth.
Step 9
Lubricate the cut cakes with cream, coat the sides.
Step 10
