Baked pears with cottage cheese

There are those who love pears in their simplest and most natural form - "from the tree" or bought from a trusted market merchant, and there are adherents of pears baked, grilled or stewed in sugar syrup. This recipe is for the latter, although lovers of natural products will surely like baked pears with cottage cheese too.

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • 4 firm ripe pears
  • 100 g cottage cheese
  • 4 macaroons
  • 4 tbsp. l. honey plus for serving
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • fresh berries for garnish, preferably raspberries

Cooking

Step 1

Pears cut in half. Remove the core with a spoon. On the opposite side, cut off some pulp so that the pear is stable. Drizzle the pears with lemon juice. Fry with 20 g of butter on both sides for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Transfer the pears to an ovenproof dish lined with baking paper. Mix cottage cheese with cinnamon and honey. Spread the filling over the pears, pressing it into the recesses. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Break the macaroons, put in a bag and roll with a rolling pin until small crumbs form. Get them out of the oven mold. Sprinkle with almonds and bake for another 10 minutes. Arrange the pears on plates, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with the remaining crumbs and garnish with berries
