Zrazy with egg, onion and apple
Zrazy with egg, onion and apple is one of the options for preparing this wonderful dish, of which there are a great many in nature. Most often, the filling is made from dried mushrooms: they go well with meat, poultry, and even fish. We offer a more refined version of zrazy - with fruity notes on the palate. Apples are lightly fried in butter, which makes the texture of the filling very delicate. The minced meat itself is not particularly original: it is based on beef and pork in a 1: 1 ratio. But it is this “commonness” that allows us to have no doubt that zrazy with egg, onion and apple will be liked by your loved ones and will take root in the family menu.
Ingredients
Servings 6 servings- eggs - 2 pcs.
- beef pulp - 250 g
- pork pulp - 250 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- butter - 80 g
- apple - 1 pc.
- green onions - 50 g
- breadcrumbs - 3 tbsp. l.
- salt, freshly ground black pepper - to taste
Cooking
Step 1
First, hard-boil the eggs for the zraz filling (10 minutes), then cool under running water. Prepare minced meat. To do this, pass the meat twice through a meat grinder with a frequent grate.
Step 2
Peel the onion and chop finely. Melt 20 g butter in a frying pan. Put the onion in it and, stirring, brown until golden brown (5 minutes over medium heat). Let cool.
Step 3
Combine meat and fried onions. Salt, pepper to taste and mix thoroughly. Put the minced meat for zraz in the refrigerator or just in a cool place until use.
Step 4
Prepare the filling for the zrazy. Wash and peel the apple. Cut in half and remove the core with seeds. Cut the pulp into very small cubes and fry in 20 g of butter for two minutes.
Step 5
Peel and chop hard-boiled eggs. Wash green onions, dry well and cut into thin rings. Combine with apples and eggs. Salt and pepper a little.
Step 6
Sprinkle your desktop with a tablespoon of breadcrumbs. Make several large flatbreads from minced meat. Place the filling in the middle of each. Fasten the edges of the cakes and pinch.
Step 7
Melt the remaining butter in a skillet. Fry on it zrazy from all sides to a crust. Close the pan with a lid. Bring the zrazy to readiness within 10 minutes.
