Tea cake
Ingredients
Servings 12- 1 st. l. black loose tea
- 1 st. water
- 1 st. jam
- 1/2 st. Sahara
- 1.5 st. flour
- 1 egg
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 2.5 st. l. vegetable oil
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice for baking soda
- 3/4 tbsp. custard cream
- nuts, fruits, berries for decoration
Cooking
Step 1
Brew strong tea with 1 cup of hot water. Measure the jam into a bowl and add the cooled tea leaves.
Step 2
Add sugar, salt and 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil, egg. Stir the mixture until smooth.
Step 3
Sift the flour and add to the mixture in 2-3 doses, mix thoroughly again. Lastly, add slaked soda. Grease the form with the remaining oil and lay out the dough. Put to bake in an oven preheated to 200'C.
Step 4
Cool the finished cake, cut into portioned cakes and can be served. Also, the cupcake can be decorated with custard, fruits, nuts and berries.
