Sweet roll with poppy seeds

Ingredients
Servings 8- Puff pastry - 400 g
- Poppy seeds (grains) - 250 g
- Sugar - 50 g
- Butter - 50 g
- Honey - 30 g

Prepare the filling. To do this, mix poppy seeds, honey, butter, and sugar in a separate container. Mix thoroughly until smooth.

Roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin, for convenience, dust the table and rolling pin with flour. Spread the prepared filling over the dough, leaving a little space from the edges.

Line a baking tray with parchment. Roll up the roll and place it on the baking tray. Brush the top of the roll with a little oil or beaten egg, if desired, and place in the oven for 40-45 minutes at 180℃.

Cool the finished roll slightly and cut into pieces. Transfer to a serving dish, decorate with powdered sugar on top. Serve the dessert with aromatic tea or coffee.
