Roasted turnip with honey
Ingredients
- 500 g turnip
- 3-4 century l. Sahara
- 60 g vegetable oil
- 200 g onion
- 1/4 chili pepper (optional)
- 2-3 tbsp. l. honey
- apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp. l.
Cooking
Step 1
Wash the turnip, peel, cut into cubes, pour boiling water, add sugar, mix and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the water. In a frying pan, it is good to heat the vegetable oil and fry the turnip, finely chopped onion and very finely chopped red pepper in it for 3-5 minutes.
Step 3
Remove vegetables with a slotted spoon, allowing excess fat to drain. Add honey diluted with vinegar, mix everything and serve as a side dish for meat.
