Patties with broccoli, ham and cheese
Your guests will be very pleased when you treat them to hot cakes at the festive table. It is very simple to make: prepare the pies in advance and put them in the refrigerator, and put them in the oven when half an hour is left before serving.
Ingredients
Servings 8- 500 g puff pastry without yeast
- 150 g cream cheese
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- 200 g ham
- 200 g broccoli
- 1 egg
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
Cooking
Step 1
Defrost puff pastry ahead of time. Preheat oven to 200°C. Boil broccoli in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. Cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Grate the cheddar, cut the ham into small cubes. Combine cream cheese, cheddar, ham and broccoli, season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured work surface to a thickness of 4 mm. Cut into 10x10 cm squares. Put the stuffing on one corner. Brush the edges of the dough with water and fold diagonally to form triangles. Press the edges with a fork.
Step 4
Whisk an egg with 1 tbsp. l. water. Transfer the pies to a baking sheet and brush the surface with the egg. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve the pies warm.
