Pancake cake
This pancake cake is perfect for any holiday table. It cooks quickly and is delicious. The strawberry cream is definitely the highlight of this cake.
Ingredients
Servings 4-6- cream cheese - 250 g
- mashed strawberries with sugar - 350 g
- powdered sugar - 7.5 g
- vanilla essence - 7.5 g
- sheet gelatin - 10 g
- cream 35% - 250ml
- milk - 500 ml
- chicken egg - 2-3 pcs.
- premium flour - 250 g
- vegetable oil - 50 g
- salt - 5 g
- granulated sugar - 45 g
- butter - 35 g
Cooking
Step 1
All the ingredients for the dough are combined, whipped, to a liquid and homogeneous, without lumps, consistency. Pancakes with a diameter of 20-22 cm are fried in a well-heated frying pan greased with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Prepare the cream: beat cream cheese with strawberry jam or strawberries grated with sugar, add powdered sugar, vanilla essence and whipped cream 35%, as well as gelatin pre-dissolved in a water bath. Let the cream sit for a while to thicken.
Step 3
Assemble the cake: spread the cream on the finished pancakes in layers, (cream-pancakes-cream-pancakes), decorate the top layer with waffle crumbs and strawberry puree (strawberry jam / strawberries mashed with sugar).
