Crumbly cake with cottage cheese layer

A quick and very simple recipe will delight your loved ones with a delicious addition to a cup of tea.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pack of butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2.5 cups flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • For the curd layer:
  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • a pinch of salt

Cooking

Step 1

Sift flour into a bowl, add sugar, salt, butter, slaked soda and mix thoroughly so that no lumps of oil remain. The result should be a homogeneous crumb.

Step 2

Put cottage cheese in a blender and beat until smooth, add eggs, sugar, salt and beat until the ingredients are combined.

Step 3

Grease the mold lightly with oil. Spread half of the crumbs evenly over the mold. Then lay out the curd filling and evenly pour the second part of the crumbs on top.

Step 4

Bake in an oven preheated to 180'C. The surface should brown slightly. Cut into portioned cakes, sprinkle with cinnamon on top before serving.
