Cookies "Sausage"

Many from childhood remember and love the dessert "chocolate sausage". My recipe is different from the classic "chocolate sausage" recipe. I propose to prepare the dough and bake sausage-shaped chocolate cookies with nuts. These cookies are perfect for children's tea parties. I cook it for my children and they are delighted with the delicious "sausage".

Ingredients

  • wheat flour - 120 g
  • almond flour - 40 g
  • butter - 100 g
  • brown sugar - 80 g
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • cocoa powder - 30 g
  • pecans - 50 g
  • salt - 1 chip.
  • white sugar - 1 tbsp.

Cooking

Step 1

Beat room temperature butter with brown sugar and salt. Beat with a whisk or mixer.

Step 2

Break the egg, separate the yolk from the protein. Add the yolk to the butter bowl and stir.

Step 3

Add wheat and almond flour, passing them through a sieve, cocoa powder and knead the dough with a spatula.

Step 4

Cut nuts.

Step 5

Add nuts to the dough and mix.

Step 6

Cover the surface of the table with a film and put the dough on it.

Step 7

Roll the dough into a sausage.

Step 8

Wrap sausage in clingfilm and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 9

Remove the sausage from the refrigerator and brush with egg white.

Step 10

Roll sausage in sugar.

Step 11

Cut the sausage into circles 1-1.2 cm thick.

Step 12

Put the circles on a baking sheet, covering it with baking paper, and bake cookies for 12-15 minutes at a temperature of 170 ° C.
