Chinese salad with corn

This salad can be served as an appetizer or as a side dish to grilled or stewed meat, turkey and chicken. It is especially good with fried pork.

Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 100 g young corn cobs
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • salt
  • 100 g green peas
  • sesame oil
  • 1 cob salad
  • soy sauce

Cooking

Step 1

1. Wash corn cobs and pea pods, dry with paper towels. In a frying pan, heat 2 tbsp. l. sesame oil, add 1 tbsp. l. soy sauce and fry the corn and peas, stirring constantly, until golden brown, 3 minutes. 2. Separate the lettuce into leaves, wash, dry and chop coarsely. Wash the pepper, remove the stalk and seeds, finely chop. Mix fried corn and peas, peppers and lettuce leaves in a salad bowl. 3. Mix the remaining sesame oil with the remaining soy sauce and fresh ginger; salt, pepper to taste. Fill the salad.
