Baked figs with feta

Figs are known by many names - fig, fig, fig. It comes in black and green. Compotes, jams, pie fillings are made from fresh figs. And figs go well with various types of cheese and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 12 ripe figs
  • 200 g feta
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp. l.
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1 small bunch of fresh rosemary
  • 60 g peeled almonds

Cooking

Step 1

Wash figs, dry. Cut off the tops with a knife, gently scrape the pulp with a teaspoon, leaving a layer of pulp on the walls. Lightly brown the almonds in a pan without fat. Cool, chop coarsely. Preheat the oven to 210ºС. Mash half of the feta with a fork. Mix with fig pulp, 12 crushed rosemary leaves and almonds. Pepper the figs from the inside, fill with the prepared mixture. Place the stuffed figs on a greased baking sheet. Place a piece of feta on top of each fig. Sprinkle the figs with the remaining oil, pepper, cover with cut caps. Arrange rosemary sprigs on a baking sheet. Place a baking sheet with figs in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, depending on the size and ripeness of the fruit. Periodically pour juice from the pan. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
