Red beans with homemade sausages
Ingredients
Servings 6 servings- 100 g smoked ham
- bay leaf
- 1 st. l. condiments for Kamis bean dishes
- 2 cups dry red beans
- butter - 1 tbsp. l.
- 1 glass of dry red wine
- onion - 1 onion
- 100 g smoked brisket
- coarse salt
- 6 homemade sausages
- 1 bunch thyme
Cooking
Step 1
1. Sort the beans, add water and leave for 6 hours. Then, without draining the water, add 0.5 tbsp. l. coarse salt, chopped onion, thyme, bay leaf and put the pan on moderate heat. Cover loosely with lid. Cook for 2 hours. 2. Put the beans in a colander, pour the broth into a bowl and save. Cover the beans and set aside. 3. Heat the butter in a deep frying pan. Cut the brisket, ham and sausages into small pieces and fry in oil for 2 minutes. 4. Put the beans in the pan, pour in the wine and 2-3 cups of the reserved broth. 5. Add seasoning to bean dishes, mix thoroughly. 6. Cover the pan with beans with a round sheet of parchment so that the paper protrudes beyond the edges of the pan. Cover tightly. Simmer over low heat until beans are tender, 30-40 minutes.
