Healthy chickpea candies
Does your girlfriend or girlfriend follow her figure, limit herself to sweets, but at the same time love sweets very much? Then give her a gift in the form of healthy chickpea sweets, and also play the game - "Chur, can't you guess what they are from?". I'm sure there will be different versions, the most common one is made from marzipan. In fact, everything is much simpler :)
Ingredients
Servings 6- boiled chickpeas - 250 g
- peanut butter - 3 tbsp. l.
- liquid honey - 1 tbsp. l.
- dates - 7 pcs.
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- natural chocolate for glazing - 200 g
Cooking
Step 1
How to boil chickpeas: overnight, pour dry chickpeas with cold water, after rinsing very well. After 12 hours, at least rinse well again and cook in a saucepan in plenty of water, without salting the water. I cook on low heat with the lid closed for 2 hours. If foam forms during cooking, remove with a slotted spoon. Properly cooked chickpeas should remain intact, but are very soft. Then everything is elementary: place all the ingredients in a powerful blender and beat until a homogeneous paste. I can’t get hold of a good stationary blender, so I first use a meat grinder with the smallest grate: I grind chickpeas and dates. Then I put it in a blender bowl, add the remaining ingredients and use an ordinary immersion blender to bring everything to a homogeneous pasty state.
Step 2
Place boiled and cooled chickpeas, peanut butter, honey, dates and vanilla extract in a blender and beat until a smooth paste. The mass should be plastic, it is easy to roll a ball out of it.
Step 3
Roll into walnut-sized balls and place in the refrigerator.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate in a water bath. For frosting, I use skewers. I prick one candy on a skewer and dip it in chocolate, coat it with chocolate on all sides with a silicone brush. I put the finished candy on a board covered with a silicone mat. Thus we glaze all sweets. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens. Keep refrigerated.
