Vanilla pudding
A wonderful alternative to cake if you are expecting a lot of guests.
Ingredients
Servings 12- banana 3 pcs.
- eggs 4 pcs.
- sugar 1 tbsp.
- flour 1 tbsp.
- milk 1 ½ l
- sugar 1 ½ tbsp.
- vanilla essence
- starch 8 tbsp. l.
- turmeric 1 ½ tsp. l.
- milk chocolate 200 g
- cream 20% 100 ml.
Cooking
Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat at low speed until an elastic white mass, gradually adding sugar. Then gradually, literally on a spoon, introduce the yolks. Remove mixer and sift flour. Then gently, with movements from the bottom up, knead the dough with a silicone spatula. Bake at 190 C for 20-25 minutes.
Step 2
Pour milk into a saucepan and heat up. Leave half a glass unheated (you will need it later).
Step 3
Add sugar and turmeric to the milk (to give a pleasant yellowish tint).
Step 4
while the milk is heating. 8 art. l. (no top!) mix well until liquid with the remaining cold milk.
Step 5
When the milk begins to boil, reduce the fire to a minimum, mix the milk-starch mixture well again and slowly, stirring actively, pour it into the main part of the milk (this is important, otherwise it will take lumps!).
Step 6
Cook until thickened, about 3-5 minutes, remove from heat. Add vanilla essence (can be replaced with vanilla).
Step 7
While the pudding is cooking, cut the biscuit and bananas into large pieces and place them in a large glass dish or in portioned bowls. Fill with pudding.
Step 8
For the topping, melt the chocolate in a water bath, stirring constantly. Gradually add cream, stir well. Cover the cooled pudding.
Step 9
Cover with clingfilm and let it brew in the refrigerator for several hours (overnight is better).
