Turkey with mushrooms in a pot
Ingredients
Servings 2- Turkey fillet - 300 g
- Champignons - 200 g
- Onions - 100 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Water - 200 g
- Vegetable oil - 17 g
- Paprika - 1.5 g
- Bay leaf - 4 g
Cooking
Step 1
Lightly fry the ingredients before baking. To prevent the contents from turning into mush in the oven and to ensure that they are baked well, you need to fry the meat and vegetables. Put the sliced mushrooms in a preheated frying pan with 1 tablespoon of oil and fry them until half-cooked. Each side should have a light golden crust - this way the mushrooms in the stew will be elastic. Separately fry the turkey until white. Then fry the potatoes and onions for 3-4 minutes.
Step 2
Start cooking the meat in pots. Put the chopped turkey into the pots. Add the mushrooms, potatoes and onions. Salt and pepper, put the bay leaf and paprika in the container. Pour 100 ml of water into each pot and cover with lids (you can use foil instead of lids).
Step 3
Place the pots in the oven. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees and bake the turkey with mushrooms for 40 minutes. Place the pots in a cold oven so that they do not crack.
Step 4
Check for doneness. Check the potatoes and turkey for tenderness 5 minutes before the end of baking. If more time is needed, stir the contents and bake for another 5-7 minutes. After cooking, leave to stand for 5 minutes.
