Greek salad with feta
Greek salad is a great option for a festive table, as well as for a light dinner or lunch. The combination of fresh vegetables with light feta cheese, olives, olive oil and herbs will please even the most inveterate critics. This dish is one of the easiest to prepare. However, this fact does not make it mediocre, on the contrary, now there are many variations of this dish. It can be easily diversified by adding fresh herbs or chickpeas to make a hearty lunch and dinner.
Ingredients
Servings 2- Tomato - 180 g
- Cucumber - 120 g
- Bell pepper - 150 g
- Red onion - 75 g
- Feta cheese - 200 g
- Olives - 100 g
Cooking
Step 1
Cut the cucumber lengthwise and slice into 5-7 mm thick slices.
Step 2
Remove the stalk from the tomatoes. Cut them into 1.5-2 cm slices.
Step 3
Cut the bell pepper into large 1 cm cubes.
Step 4
Cut the onion into 2 mm thick rings.
Step 5
Cut the feta into medium cubes.
Step 6
Place all ingredients, including olives, in a bowl. Season with olive oil, sprinkle with dried herbs, salt and pepper. Mix carefully.
Step 7
Garnish the finished salad with dill sprigs and serve.
