Place clean and dry jars and lids in a cold oven, turn on the oven to preheat to 120 ⁰С and turn it off after 13–15 minutes.
Peel the carrots and cut them into circles. Cut the garlic into slices.
Place carrots, garlic, horseradish root, salt, hot pepper, bay leaf and herbs on the bottom of a portioned jar.
Place the tomatoes in a jar and pour in water and 1 tbsp. vinegar. Let the tomatoes sit for 1 month in a cool, dark place. Enjoy!
