Shrimp in Teriyaki Sauce

Shrimp in Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

Shrimp in a frying pan in Teriyaki sauce is a balanced dish with a pronounced sweet and sour taste. Real Teriyaki is a glossy and shiny sauce with a viscous consistency. It is perfect for dishes with meat, poultry, and seafood. To make the dish perfect, it is important to choose fresh and high-quality shrimp. If the shells are dry, the meat has a yellowish color and black spots are visible, these are old shrimp. It is worth giving preference to shrimp with an even smooth color and a bent tail.

Marinate the vegetables. Heat a frying pan and pour in sesame (or olive) oil. Put the onion in and fry it for 1 minute. Add the chopped carrots and zucchini to the onion, lightly fry them until half-ready. This process will take no more than 2-3 minutes. Throw the vegetables in a colander, let the oil drain.

When the shrimp in teriyaki sauce are browned, pour in enough water to cover them slightly and simmer until done under a lid on low heat for about 3 more minutes. Mix the fried vegetables with three tablespoons of Teriyaki sauce and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
