Put the sausage between the sticks and cut into equal segments. Sticks will help not to cut through the sausage. Secure sausages with wooden skewers or toothpicks.
Release the egg into a bowl, add sour cream (mayonnaise), paprika, salt and beat well.
Fry the sausages on one side in a frying pan with warm vegetable oil, turn over, pour over the egg mixture and bring to readiness.
