All sandwiches for the holiday table can be divided into three categories. The first includes those that you cook constantly, and know the recipes by heart. The second includes those that you can come up with on the fly. And the third includes untested ones. They are used if all the usual options are already boring, and there is no time to invent a new recipe. Our recipe for crispy sandwiches with tofu, champignons, tender cream cheese and cucumber is just one of them.
Step 1

Pour soy sauce into the frying pan, add tofu and fry over high heat until lightly browned.
Step 2

In a dry frying pan, toast the bread slices until crispy, then spread them with cream cheese.
Step 3

Place tofu, mushrooms, cucumber on bread, sprinkle with chopped onion and serve.
