Cover the rice with water and rinse. Repeat until the water becomes clear. Cook according to the instructions on the cereal package.
Place the shrimp in a pan of boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes. Cool and remove the shells.
Carefully peel the avocado and cut into small pieces.
Lay out a mat and place a sheet of nori on it with the short side facing you. Lay out the rice, leaving 10 cm from the bottom edge. Press it down gently with your fingers.
Place the filling along the short edge. First the avocado, then the cream cheese. On top of the cheese, place the shrimp.
Roll the roll until it is tight.
Wet the remaining edge of the nori with water and roll the roll to the end. Cut off the excess. Use a wet knife to cut the roll into convenient portions.
