Fry the onion in a frying pan with heated oil for 2 minutes.

Add the mince and fry, stirring, for about 3 minutes. Pour in the tomato paste, add the rice, salt and stir. Cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, adding water if necessary.
