Potato pancakes are one of the popular dishes in Latvia and Lithuania. Great option for a hearty breakfast.

Peel potatoes. Rub on a fine grater.

Add egg, flour, black pepper, salt and nutmeg.

Mix.

Heat a frying pan, add olive oil, let it heat up well and reduce the heat to medium. Spread the potato mass with a tablespoon.

Fry on both sides until a beautiful golden brown.
