For many, the "Kartoshka" cake is a childhood delicacy that evokes nostalgia and warm memories. It appeared in Soviet times, known for the shortage of many products. Therefore, the most accessible ingredients were always used to prepare "Kartoshka". To prepare this cake, you can take either a biscuit or any cookies. In the classic version of "Kartoshka", condensed milk is put inside, but this recipe uses regular milk and sugar, which makes it even easier.

Break the cookies and place them in a measuring cup or bowl. Grind the cookies in a blender until they become crumbs.

In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, butter and milk.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and heat the mixture until the butter melts. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
