Start preparing the pita dough. Pour hot water into a glass and dissolve salt in it. Sift flour into a separate bowl and make a hole in the center. Pour water into this hole, and then vegetable oil.
Mix the dough first with a spoon and then, when it has cooled down a bit, with your hands. Knead the dough for 5 minutes. Cover the dough with cling film or a towel and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface (table/table) and knead the cooled dough again for 5 minutes with your hands. Divide it into 8 equal parts and form balls. Cover the balls with cling film. Roll each ball into a flat cake with a diameter of 15 cm.
Heat a frying pan and place the flatbread in it. Fry the flatbread on each side for 4 minutes several times until the pita begins to rise.
