Separate the whites from the yolks. Combine soft butter with sugar and beat, adding one yolk at a time during whipping.
Add sour cream to the resulting mass, mix.
Pour the sifted flour mixed with baking powder, mix.
Beat egg whites with vanilla sugar until stiff peaks. Gently but surely fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
Peel apples, cut into thin slices. Preferably seasonal apples "Antonovka".
Spread the apples over the entire surface of the pie (packing density to your taste - the more apples, the wetter the pie).
Mix brown sugar with cinnamon, sprinkle on top of the cake. Place the pie in a preheated oven at 180*C. Bake for approximately 50 minutes. (before the test for a dry splinter).
