
Prepare a jar with vegetables. Put garlic cloves, peppercorns, bay leaf on the bottom of the jar, add onion rings. Then put cucumbers and carrots alternately throughout the jar. Pour boiling water over the cucumbers to sterilize for 20 minutes. Then drain the water. Pour water over them again for the same amount of time.

Prepare the marinade. Drain the water from the second pouring of cucumbers into a saucepan, add salt and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, pour in vinegar, cook for 20-30 seconds.

Marinate cucumbers with onions. Pour the hot marinade over the cucumbers. Roll up the jar, check if the liquid is leaking. After that, turn the container upside down, wrap it in a warm blanket, let it cool completely, and then put it in the cold.
