Panna Cotta with Mango
Ingredients
- Cream - 200 g
- Mango - 450 g
- Sugar - 80 g
- Water - 60 g
- Milk - 200 g
- Powdered gelatin - 10 g
- Potato starch - 9 g
- Powdered sugar - 75 g
Panna cotta, the famous Italian dessert, can be prepared not only with berries, but also with mango. Thanks to this fruit, the dessert will acquire a bright tropical taste and sunny color. Panna cotta with mango is prepared according to a traditional recipe from classic ingredients: cream, sugar and gelatin, and at the end, mango puree is added to the dessert. Before cooking, gelatin must be poured with water so that it swells.
Step 1

Prepare panna cotta. Combine cream and milk, add 2 tbsp. sugar and put on the fire. Bring to a boil. Then add the swollen gelatin to the hot creamy mass. Stir until the gelatin dissolves. Pour into bowls and put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours so that the dessert hardens.
Step 2

Make mango puree. To do this, use a blender to turn the mango into puree. Add 2 tbsp. sugar and starch. Heat slightly so that the puree thickens slightly.
Step 3

Assemble the dessert. Take the panna cotta out of the refrigerator. Spread the mango puree on top of the frozen dessert. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
