Miso soup with tofu
Ingredients
- Water - 800 g
- Miso paste - 20 g
- Wakame seaweed - 5 g
- Tofu - 100 g
- Dashi broth - 5 g
Japanese national cuisine is not only sushi, but also misoshiru, also known as miso soup. Dashi broth and special miso paste are traditionally used for its preparation. The Japanese believe that the ingredients are not important in this dish, but the color, texture and, of course, flavor combinations. Therefore, when adding products with a bright aroma, neutral tofu is always added to them.
Step 1

Make miso with tofu. Boil water in a saucepan. Add dashi broth. Stir well. Reduce heat to low. Place miso paste in a small container, pour in a small amount of broth and stir. Add this mixture to the saucepan. Turn off the heat. Place tofu, seaweed, onion in a bowl. Pour in the broth from the saucepan.
