Cook the lentils. Pour cold water into a saucepan and add red lentils, place on high heat and bring to a boil. After boiling, remove the foam, reduce heat to medium and cook the lentils for about 15 minutes. 3-4 minutes before readiness, add bay leaf and salt. After cooking, drain the water from the lentils.
Place finely chopped garlic in a frying pan with heated oil and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the fillet. Fry on all sides until golden brown for about 5-6 minutes. Add carrots and onions and stir.
Add spices and lentils. Add red and black pepper, coriander and salt to the chicken. Fry the mixture until the vegetables are soft, about 10 more minutes. Reduce the heat and add the lentils. Mix the lentils with the chicken and heat everything together over low heat for about 1 more minute.
