Cut the lemons into small slices, remove the seeds.
Using a blender, puree the lemons.
Add sugar to the lemon puree. Let the lemon mixture steep with sugar and extract the juice. If desired, for a tart taste, you can replace half of the sugar with fresh honey.
Boil the infused lemon puree with sugar over low heat, stirring, until it boils. After 2-3 minutes, remove from heat.
