Prepare the ginger. Cut the washed, fresh ginger root into rings or half rings no more than 7 mm thick. Place them on the bottom of the jar.
Prepare the tincture. Pour honey over the ginger. Pour in vodka and close the lid tightly. Shake until the honey is completely dissolved. Put the drink in a dark, cool place for 12 days.
Strain the tincture. After 12 days, take out the jar with ginger tincture. Shake it several times. Strain it with gauze. Pour it into a convenient container.
