
Chop the bacon.

Peel and chop the onion.

Place egg noodles in salted boiling water.

Cook noodles until tender, following package directions.

Heat a frying pan with high sides. Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped bacon to the onion.

Fry the bacon for 7-8 minutes.

Place egg noodles in the pan.

Pour the cream into the pan.

Mix the ingredients and simmer for 3-5 minutes over low heat.

Place the egg noodles and bacon on plates. Basil is a great addition to the dish.
