
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Break the chicken egg into a bowl and pour in the milk. Salt and pepper to taste.

Add grated cheese and mix everything until smooth.

Dip the bread slices into the egg-milk mixture and let them soak. Try to get as much cheese as possible to stick to the bread.

Melt the butter in a frying pan. Place the bread on it.

Fry the croutons for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Decorate the finished croutons with cherry tomatoes if desired. Enjoy!
