In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, sugar and egg.

Add baking soda, sifted flour and knead into a thick dough.

Sprinkle the table with flour, place the dough on the table and knead it thoroughly.

While you prepare the apple filling, wrap the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator.

Prepare the filling. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes.

Melt the butter in a saucepan.

When the butter has completely melted, add the apples to the saucepan.

Simmer the apples for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. The apples should become softer, but not boiled into a puree.

Place the apples in a sieve to drain off excess liquid. Let the filling cool to room temperature.

Dust your work surface with flour and divide the dough into four equal parts.

Roll out all pieces of dough into neat circles of equal thickness.

Place the filling on the rolled out dough.

Form into patties on a floured surface, carefully sealing the edges.

Heat a deep pan with vegetable oil. Carefully lower the pies into it.

Fry the pies on each side until golden brown for 4-5 minutes. The pies are ready!
