Prepare the dough. In a deep container, mix salt with 3 tablespoons of flour, add sugar, dry yeast, warm milk and water, pour in vegetable oil. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Gradually add flour. The dough should be elastic. Cover the container with a clean towel and leave for 40 minutes to rise.
Prepare the sticks. Form the dough into sticks. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave to rest and rise a little. After 15 minutes, beat the egg yolk with 2 tbsp. milk and grease the sticks. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven, preheated to 180 ˚C, for 15 minutes.
