Many people think that one of the most famous salads in the world was named after Gaius Julius Caesar. However, this is not true. In this case, all the laurels go to another person - the chef Caesar Cardini. This dish will be classic only if you make the right sauce for the Caesar salad - and we have an excellent recipe for it.
Step 1

Whisk mustard with egg yolks, salt and lemon juice.
Step 2

Add olive oil drop by drop, whisking the mixture into the mayonnaise. Add pepper, Worcestershire sauce, crushed anchovy fillets, crushed garlic and grated Parmesan.
Step 3

Beat until smooth and season the salad with the dressing.
